How to sign up for a paid subscription using your computer? (India)

We have recently updated our look! We are working diligently to make our website available to other web browsers but, for now, please use the latest version of Google Chrome, Firefox, or Opera to get the most out of HOOQ.

Available payment methods:
  • Credit card (auto-renews, we accept those bearing Visa and/or MarsterCard logos)
  • Debit card (doesn’t auto-renew, we accept those bearing Visa and/or MasterCard logos)
  • PayTM (auto-renews)
  • Cash Card (doesn’t auto-renew)
  • Carrier billing (Vodafone; doesn’t auto-renew)
  • Airtel TV
  • Vodafone Play
  • ACT Fibernet

Ready to subscribe? Here's how:
  • Make sure you're connected to the internet, and then open a supported web browser. 
  • Go to our https://www.hooq.tv website.
  • Click the "WATCH NOW ON HOOQ" button. Click that button.
  • If you want to sign up using your email address:
    • Enter your email address and click on "Done". 
    • Open your inbox and look for an email from HOOQ. Click on "Confirm Email".
    • If you're also using a computer to access your email, the page should route you to the home page after confirming the email. If it doesn't, or you used another device to confirm your email, go back to the HOOQ page and click on "I have verified".
    • Did not receive the verification email? Click on "Resend Email" on the same page.
  • If you want to sign up using your mobile number: 
    • Enter your mobile number in the specified box, then hit the “Done” button.
    • Select “YES” to confirm that you entered the right mobile.
    • You’ll receive a 6-digit OTP verification code via text message.
    • If you didn’t receive a code, tap the Resend Code link.
    • Enter the verification code on the HOOQ sign up page, then hit the “Next” button.
  • Once you’re on the Discover page, click on the user icon at the top right corner of your screen.
  • Select “Subscription”.
  • Tap on “Subscribe now”.
  • Since this is your first time to subscribe, you will be offered a 30-day free trial and you can get it as long as you're willing to set up your payment details upfront, then you will be charged once your trial period expires. To get the 30-day trial: ​
    • Follow the prompts until you get a confirmation that your payment is successful. Note that you will be charged once your trial period expires.
    • Enter your payment details, then click on “Make Payment”.
    • Click on "Start your free trial".
    • You’ll be asked to select from the different payment methods. Select a payment method that offers a 30-day trial.
 

If you prefer to subscribe to us via Airtel TV:
  • You may avail a standalone plan with us via Airtel at the easy price of Rs 249 per month.
  • You may contact Airtel by sending them an e-mail at movies@wynk.in. You may also go to http://www.airtel.in/airtelmovies/, and then click on Contact Us


If you have an existing ACT Fibernet account and would like to subscribe to us:

  • A standalone plan costs INR 79 per month.
  • The first month is free and a recurring monthly payment is charged on top of your ACT bill.
  • Here are the easy steps to register: 
    • Log in to your ACT account in ACT portal.
    • Click on the HOOQ banner and provide the required details.
    • Once successful, user credentials will be sent via SMS.
    • Log in to HOOQ with the registered credentials.
