How to sign up for a paid subscription using your computer? (India)

We have recently updated our look! We are working diligently to make our website available to other web browsers but, for now, please use the latest version of Google Chrome, Firefox or Opera to get the most out of HOOQ.

We also now have different packages available for you depending on how long you'd want to stay HOOQ'd! Click here to view our rates.


Available payment methods:
  • Credit card (auto-renews every 30 days, we accept those bearing Visa and/or MarsterCard logos)
  • Debit card (doesn’t auto-renew, we accept those bearing Visa and/or MasterCard logos)
  • PayTM (doesn’t auto-renew)
  • Cash Card (doesn’t auto-renew)
  • Carrier billing (Airtel, Idea, Vodafone; doesn’t auto-renew)
  • Airtel Wynk
  • ACT Broadband

If you already have an account with us, you may simply just change your payment method.

If you don't have an account yet with us, here’s how to sign up for a paid subscription with us:
  • First, you need to sign up for a free trial. Follow the steps in this link to sign up.
  • Once you're logged in, hover on the user icon at the upper right portion of your screen. Click on "Subscription".
  • You should see your subscription details. 

If you wish to pay via credit card, here are the steps:
  • Click on "Manage Subscription".
  • Different plan duration options are available for you to select. Click on your preferred subscription duration.
  • Check the box next to "auto-renew". Click on "Select Plan".
  • Click on the circle next to credit card and click on "Make Payment".
  • Enter your credit card details.
  • Click on "Make Payment".

If you want to pay via debit card, follow the steps below:
  • Click on "Manage Subscription".
  • Different plan duration options are available for you to select. Click on your preferred subscription duration.
  • Uncheck the box next to "auto-renew". Click on "Select Plan".
  • Click on the circle next to debit card and click on "Make Payment".
  • Enter your debit card details.
  • Click on "Make Payment".
 
If you prefer to pay via i-Net Banking (note that this doesn't auto-renew): 
  • Click on "Manage Subscription".
  • Different plan duration options are available for you to select. Click on your preferred subscription duration.
  • Uncheck the box next to "auto-renew". Click on "Select Plan".
  • Click the circle beside "Net Banking" and click on "Make Payment".
  • Select your bank, and then key in your log-in credentials.
  • Enter your payment details. 
  • Click on "Pay". 
  • Authorize the transaction by keying in the required details. 
  • Click "Submit". 
  • You'll see the e-mail address that you used to register. This means that you're already HOOQ'd! Hooray!

If you want to use PayTM as your payment method (note that this auto-renews every 30 days):
  • Click on "Manage Subscription".
  • Different plan duration options are available for you to select. Click on your preferred subscription duration.
  • Check the box next to "auto-renew". Click on "Select Plan".
  • Click the circle beside "PayTM Wallet" and click on "Make Payment".
  • Tick the box beside "I authorize HOOQ to automatically renew my subscription and charge me every month with the abovementioned fees".
  • Click "Next".
  • Follow the prompts.
  • Once you get routed to a page where the e-mail address you used to register is displayed, you're officially HOOQ'd!
 
If you prefer to pay via Cash Card (note that this doesn't auto-renew):
 
  • Click on "Manage Subscription".
  • Different plan duration options are available for you to select. Click on your preferred subscription duration.
  • Unheck the box next to "auto-renew". Click on "Select Plan".
  • Click the circle beside "Cash Card" and click on "Make Payment".
  • Follow the prompts.
  • You know you're already HOOQ'd when you see a confirmation message that your registration had been successful. Woot woot!

If you'd like to pay via Carrier Billing (note that this doesn't auto-renew, and will be charged against your phone bill):
  • Click on "Manage Subscription".
  • Different plan duration options are available for you to select. Click on your preferred subscription duration.
  • Unheck the box next to "auto-renew". Click on "Select Plan".
  • Tap the circle beside "Carrier Billing 30days pack" if you’d like to subscribe for 30 days, or “Carrier Billing 7days pack” if you’d like to subscribe for 7 days.
  • Tap on the field that says “Select Operator”, and then choose your operator. 
  • Tap "Next".
  • Key in your carrier mobile number, and then tap on "OK".
  • You'll see a link that says "Return to Merchant", which is an indicator that the transaction is successful -- tap on that.
  • You're all set as soon as you see a confirmation message indicating that everything’s good already. :)

 
If you prefer to subscribe to us via Airtel:
  • You may avail a standalone plan with us via Airtel at the easy price of Rs 249 per month.
  • You may contact Airtel by sending them an e-mail at movies@wynk.in. You may also go to http://movies.wynk.in/movies/index.html, and then go to Settings > About > Contact Us. 


If you have an existing ACT account and would like to subscribe to us:

  • A standalone plan costs INR 249 per month.
  • The first month is free and a recurring monthly payment is charged on top of your ACT bill.
  • Here are the easy steps to register: 
    • Log in to your ACT account in ACT portal.
    • Click on the HOOQ banner and provide the required details.
    • Once successful, user credentials will be sent via SMS.
    • Log in to HOOQ with the registered credentials.
