(India) How to sign up for a paid subscription using your computer?

Available payment methods:
 
  • Credit card (auto-renews, we accept those bearing Visa and/or MarsterCard logos)
  • Debit card (doesn’t auto-renew, we accept those bearing Visa and/or MasterCard logos)
  • Net banking
  • PayTM (auto-renews)
  • Ola Money (auto-renews)
  • Cash Card (doesn’t auto-renew)
  • Carrier billing (Vodafone; doesn’t auto-renew)
  • Airtel TV
  • ACT Fibernet
  • Access via Vodafone Play, Hotstar or Micromax

Ready to subscribe? Here's how:
 
  1. Make sure you're connected to the internet, and then open a supported web browser. 
  2. Go to our https://www.hooq.tv website.
  3. Click the "WATCH NOW ON HOOQ" button. 
  4. If you want to sign up using your email address:
    • Enter your email address and click on "Done". 
    • Open your inbox and look for an email from HOOQ. Click on "Confirm Email".
    • If you're also using a computer to access your email, the page should route you to the home page after confirming the email. If it doesn't, or you used another device to confirm your email, go back to the HOOQ page and click on "I have verified".
    • Did not receive the verification email? Click on "Resend Email" on the same page.
  5. If you want to sign up using your mobile number: 
    • Enter your mobile number in the specified box, then hit the “Done” button.
    • Select “YES” to confirm that you entered the right mobile number.
    • You’ll receive a 6-digit OTP verification code via text message.
    • If you didn’t receive a code, tap the Resend Code link.
    • Enter the verification code on the HOOQ sign up page, then hit the “Next” button.
  6. Once you’re on the Discover page, click on the user icon at the top right corner of your screen.
  7. Select “Subscription”.
  8. Click on “Manage Subscription”.


You're eligible to get our current special offer (get a 90-day subscription for INR 89), and you can get it as long as you're willing to set up your payment details upfront. To get the special offer: ​

  1. Select a recurring payment method that offers the 90-day promo (PayTM, Ola Money or Credit Card).
  2. Click on "Start your free trial now".
  3. Enter your payment details, then tap on “Make Payment”.
  4. Follow the prompts until you get a confirmation that your payment is successful. ​
 

 

  1. Choose from one of the prepaid payment methods. 
  2. Click on "Subscribe now".
  3. Enter your payment details, then tap on “Make Payment”.
  4. Follow the prompts until you get a confirmation that your payment is successful. Note that you will be charged upfront.​

  • Via Micromax: Subscribe through the HOOQ content notification that will be sent to your Micromax mobile. You can contact Micromax for more info.



Note: If you're currently subscribed to a partner plan, you won't be able to purchase another partner plan unless you use a different mobile number/email to sign up a new account.
