(India) How to sign up for a paid subscription using your computer?

Ready to subscribe? Here's how:
  1. Make sure you're connected to the internet, and then open a supported web browser. 
  2. Go to our website.
  3. Click the "WATCH NOW ON HOOQ" button. 
  4. If you want to sign up using your email address:
    • Enter your email address and click on "Done". 
    • Open your inbox and look for an email from HOOQ. Click on "Confirm Email".
    • If you're also using a computer to access your email, the page should route you to the home page after confirming the email. If it doesn't, or you used another device to confirm your email, go back to the HOOQ page and click on "I have verified".
    • Did not receive the verification email? Click on "Resend Email" on the same page.
  5. If you want to sign up using your mobile number: 
    • Enter your mobile number in the specified box, then hit the “Done” button.
    • Select “YES” to confirm that you entered the right mobile number.
    • You’ll receive a 6-digit OTP verification code via text message.
    • If you didn’t receive a code, tap the Resend Code link.
    • Enter the verification code on the HOOQ sign up page, then hit the “Next” button.
  6. Once you’re on the Discover page, click on the user icon at the top right corner of your screen.
  7. Select “Subscription”.
  8. Tap on “Manage Subscription”.

    You're eligible to get our current special offer (get a 90-day subscription for INR 89), and you can get it as long as you're willing to set up your payment details upfront. To get the special offer: ​

    1. Select a recurring payment method that offers the 90-day promo (PayTM, Ola Money or Credit Card).
    2. Tap on "Subscribe now".
    3. Enter your payment details, then tap on “Make Payment”.
    4. Follow the prompts until you get a confirmation that your payment is successful. ​

    You may avail a standalone plan with us via Airtel at the easy price of Rs 249 per month.

    A standalone plan costs INR 79 per month. The first month is free and a recurring monthly payment is charged on top of your ACT bill.

    Here are the easy steps to register: 

    1. Log in to your ACT account in ACT portal.
    2. Click on the HOOQ banner and provide the required details.
    3. Once successful, user credentials will be sent via SMS.
    4. Log in to HOOQ with the registered credentials.
