I am having issue streaming using my computer browser. What can I do to fix it?

Aw snap! Sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues streaming on HOOQ using a computer. Please try the following to fix the glitch:
  • Check if your computer’s operating system is supported.
    • For Mac, you should have OS X 10.6 or later versions. Learn how to check your OS X version. If your Mac OS X version is lower than 10.6, please upgrade your OS X version. 
    • For Windows, you should have Windows 7 or later versions. Please check your Windows version first. If you’re using Windows Vista or older Windows versions, please upgrade your Windows operating system.
  • Check if your browser is compatible with HOOQ.
    • ​We are working diligently to make our website available to other web browsers but, for now, please use the latest version of Google Chrome to get the most out of HOOQ. Click here to check your Chrome version.
  • Check the speed of your internet by doing speed test:
    • HOOQ's adaptive bitrate technology relies on the speed of your internet as it loads the video real-time, unlike YouTube that pre-loads a bit data before playing the video itself.
    • Internet Speed recommended: A minimum DSL speed of 2 Mbps and/or 3G mobile data is recommended
  • If the browser you are using is supported by HOOQ and internet connection is good, let’s do the following basic troubleshooting steps:
    • Do a hard refresh on your browser.
    • If a hard refresh doesn’t work, clear your browser’s cache and cookies. Here's how.
    • If the issue is still not fixed after doing the first 2 steps, uninstall and reinstall Google Chrome.
