How to uninstall Google Chrome on my computer?

For Windows:
 
You can uninstall an application like Google Chrome through the Control Panel. Here’s how:
 
  • Quit all Google Chrome windows. 
  • Follow these steps to open the Control Panel:
    • Press WINDOWS+R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog.
    • Type “control panel” in the empty box.
    • Click OK.
  • In the Control Panel window, under "Programs", click "Uninstall a program".
  • Look for “Google Chrome” and then right-click on it and select “Uninstall”.
    • Note: If you want to delete your user profile information, like your browser preferences, bookmarks, and history, select the "Also delete your browsing data" checkbox.
  • Wait for your computer to finish the process.
  • Restart your PC for the changes to take effect.
 
For Mac:
 
You can uninstall Google Chrome on your Mac, either manually or using a third party software like CleanMyMac 3. See the steps below.
 
Manually:
You can manually uninstall Google Chrome on your Mac, by deleting all files related to this browser:
 
  • Go to the folder containing the Google Chrome application on your computer.
    • Click the Finder icon on your Dock.
    • Click “Applications”.
    • Pull down the View menu and choose “List” to scroll through an easy to read list of all apps in the Applications folder.
    • Look for the Google Chrome app icon.
  • Drag Google Chrome to "Trash".
  • If you added Google Chrome to your Dock, simply drag it off the Dock into the Trash.

If you want to delete your Chrome user profile information, like your browser preferences, bookmarks, and history from your computer, follow these additional steps:
 
  • On the Mac menu bar at the top of the screen, click "Go".
  • Select "Go to Folder".
  • Type "~/Library/Google".
    • Click "Go".
    • Drag the folder "GoogleSoftwareUpdate" into the Trash.
    • Delete all the files which contain “Google Chrome” in their names.
  • Repeat Steps 1 to 2, then type “~/Library/Application Support/”.
    • Click "Go".
    • Delete all the files which contain “Google Chrome” in their names.
