How to change or set up my password? (Android)

We currently don't have an option to update your password from the HOOQ app. :( Don't you worry though! You can still change or set it up via web or mobile browser. :)
If you’d like to update your password using a computer/web browser, refer to the steps here. If you prefer to do it via mobile browser on your Android phone, here’s how:

  1. Open Chrome browser, then go to www.hooq.tv
  2. Select the 3 horizontal lines on the upper right corner, then tap on Log in.
  3. Log in using your registered mobile number or email address.
  4. Select “Forgot your password?”
  5. Enter your registered mobile number or email address, then select Next.
  6. A password reset link will be sent to your mobile number or email address. Select “Okay, got it!!” to confirm receipt of the link.
    • If you don’t receive the SMS/email, select Resend.
  7. Click on the link from the SMS message (or select Reset Now from the email).
  8. Enter your new password (must be at least 6 characters), then select Done.
Note: If you don’t receive the option to enter your password (or if you don’t see the “Forgot your password?” link), clear your browser's cache then
proceed again with the steps above.
